Preview: Harvard-Westlake vs. La Salle
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, La Salle should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will look to defend their home turf against Harvard-Westlake at 7:00 PM. La Salle are limping into the game on a nine-game losing streak.
La Salle's and St. Genevieve's matchup last Friday was up for grabs at halftime, but La Salle were thoroughly outmatched in the second half. La Salle have to be aching after a bruising 13-35 loss to St. Genevieve. On a positive note, senior CJ Rettig put forth a good effort for the losing side as he passed for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rettig has now scored at least one touchdown in the past four games.
Two weeks ago, Harvard-Westlake were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 16-20 to St. Paul.
