Volleyball Recap: Pitman Takes a Loss

Pitman's tournament run continued when they took on Arroyo Grande on Friday. The Pride took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Pitman couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Arroyo Grande a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Pitman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jahnvi Dhillon had 13 digs and one assist. Dhillon has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Pitman's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Arroyo Grande, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Pitman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Clovis on the 13th. As for Arroyo Grande, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against University on the 13th.
