Softball Recap: Aiken Fighting Green Hornets vs. Silver Bluff Bulldogs
Aiken was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 19-3 loss at the hands of the Silver Bluff Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Aiken of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.
Madison Zeigler was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
Aiken's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Silver Bluff, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
