Baseball Recap: North Hagerstown Comes Up Short

North Hagerstown was the 7-2 winner over Boonsboro when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Hubs fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Hubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Hagerstown's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Boonsboro, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Coming up, Boonsboro will host Clear Spring at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Blazers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. North Hagerstown will be paying especially close attention to Boonsboro's contest: after Boonsboro faces off against Clear Spring, they'll take on North Hagerstown again at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
