            Volleyball Recap: Adams Central Flying Jets vs. Union County Patriots        
        
		
        
        
            Adams Central was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union County Patriots. The Flying Jets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2021.
 Adams Central might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Union County: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23,  27-25.
 Katie Summers paced Adams Central's offense, picking up six kills. Summers got some help from  Luci Noblitt and her 15 assists.  Daisy Hindenlang and  Brianna Pruitt kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Adams Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Union County, their win bumped their record up to 10-16.
 Adams Central has already played their next matchup,  a  2-0  victory against Seton Catholic on the 11th. As for Union County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  win against Alexandria-Monroe on the 11th.
