            Baseball Recap: Beaver Dam Diamondback vs. Mountain View Christian Saints        
        
		
        
        
            Beaver Dam won the last time they faced Mountain View Christian and things went their way  on Friday too. The Diamondback put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp  20-4 win. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Diamondback this season.
 Anthony Hermosillo made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. Those  six  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.

 In other batting news,  Aaron Huerta was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Miguel Jauregui was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI.
 Beaver Dam  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .719. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.

The Diamondback will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last eight matchups. As for Mountain View Christian, they will take on Pahranagat Valley at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight.
