Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Bulldogs vs. Massac County Patriots

The Harrisburg Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 70 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of Massac County. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (63), Harrisburg still had to take the loss.

Isaac Hosman was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds for Massac County. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Harmon, who scored 18 points.

Harrisburg has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season. As for Massac County, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Lions at 6:15 p.m. on February 6th. As for Massac County, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Bombers at 6:15 p.m. on February 3rd. Ballard Memorial is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
