Gainesville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Fordland Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 last Wednesday.

Gainesville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Fordland, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Gainesville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-1 loss against Plato on the 14th. Fordland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
