Lake Central is a perfect 10-0 against Highland since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Indians will challenge the Trojans at 6:00 p.m.

Lake Central is headed into Monday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Valparaiso.

Meanwhile, Highland kept a clean sheet against Hobart on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Brickies 1-0. Highland wouldn't have won without AJ Moore, who scored the game-winner.

The win made it two in a row for Highland and bumps their season record up to 7-8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Lake Central, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-4-1.

Everything went Lake Central's way against Highland in their previous meeting back in August of 2023, as Lake Central made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
