Oak Hill got themselves on the board against Elwood on Friday, but Elwood never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oak Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jesse Zwirn, who rushed for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 69 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Dylan Archer, who rushed for 100 yards and two scores on only 11 carries.

Oak Hill is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.8 points over those games. As for Elwood, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Oak Hill will take on Eastbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven contests. As for Elwood, they will challenge Frankton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
