Basketball Game Preview: Creekside Seminoles vs. Chamblee Bulldogs

The Creekside Seminoles will take on the Chamblee Bulldogs in a tournament on Monday. One thing working in Creekside's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Thursday, Creekside didn't have quite enough to beat Creekside Christian Academy and fell 69-66. The loss put an end to the Seminoles' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Chamblee was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 70-64 to North Atlanta.

Creekside will need to focus on slowing down Octavius Gresham, one of several Chamblee players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 16 points and seven steals. Gresham has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eston McDow, who scored ten points and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Creekside fell to 2-1. As for Chamblee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Creekside might still be hurting after the 71-49 defeat they got from Chamblee in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Seminoles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
