Football Recap: Millsap Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Millsap lost against Paradise back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 740th, while the Panthers are ranked 208th).

Madden Gilbert threw for 87 yards on nine of 23 attempts. Caden Martinez was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Cash Webb rushed for 40 yards.

Millsap dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Paradise, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millsap will challenge Santo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Paradise, they will head out to square off against Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
