After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Andrew finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Joliet West Tigers. The Thunderbolts' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Joliet West, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-15.

Andrew wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lockport on the 19th. As for Joliet West, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Plainfield Central on the 19th.
