There's no place like home for Walsh Jesuit, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Walsh Jesuit was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-27, 25-23, 25-21.

Ryan Lippert paced Walsh Jesuit's offense, picking up 22 kills. Lippert got some help from Matthew DeSciscio and his 34 assists. Finally, Lippert was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Despite the loss, Brecksville-Broadview Heights still got an impressive performance from Marcus Durlesteanu, who had ten digs and three aces.

With the victory, Walsh Jesuit broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-7. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.

Walsh Jesuit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against St. Ignatius on the 6th. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Berkshire on the 13th.
