There's no place like home for San Pedro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let the Gardena Panthers get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Thursday. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.
Maya Sindicich was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Brianna Rodela was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Dahlia Davila, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and two doubles.
