Softball Recap: Rogers' Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rogers had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Lauderdale County Tigers. The game was the first time the Pirates have beaten the Tigers on their field since April 8, 2021.

Rogers' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-23. As for Lauderdale County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-17 record this season.

Lauderdale County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Colbert County on the 29th. Hopefully Rogers paid attention to the Tigers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers on Tuesday.
