Mt. Spokane is a perfect 10-0 against Gonzaga Prep since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will host the Bullpups at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mt. Spokane has 17 straight victories, Gonzaga Prep has 27 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Mt. Spokane is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Freeman, who was ranked 21st at the time (Mt. Spokane was ranked sixth). The Wildcats never let the Scotties get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga Prep lost 20-4 to Shadle Park on Friday.

Reese Jones-Ross made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sophia Gum, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Mt. Spokane pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 10.8 runs thus far. As for Gonzaga Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Mt. Spokane took their win against Gonzaga Prep in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 19-2 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bullpups turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
