Softball Preview: Penn Kingsmen vs. South Bend Adams Eagles

Penn is 10-0 against South Bend Adams since May of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. Angela McNellis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Julia McNellis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.

Penn's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for South Bend Adams, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
