Dolores is 8-2 against Nucla since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Dolores Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nucla Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Hopefully Dolores focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Saturday.

Dolores' recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight loss. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgway. Dolores has not had much luck with Ridgway recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Mark Palate put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 35 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Koby McClellan was another key contributor, scoring no points along with six assists and three steals.

Even though Nucla has not done well against Ridgway recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went Nucla's way against Ridgway as Nucla made off with a 57-37 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Nucla has posted yet this season.

Dolores has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Nucla, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-3.

Dolores ended up a good deal behind Nucla in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, losing 64-48. Will Dolores have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get analysis of the match and other basketball content.
