Softball Recap: Jeffersonville Red Devils vs. New Albany Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jeffersonville had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They blew past the New Albany Bulldogs 10-3. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Jeffersonville.
  Emma Borders spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Aubrey Cannon was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI.  Ally Young was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Jeffersonville's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for New Albany, they now  have a losing record at 12-13.
 Jeffersonville will face off against Floyd Central at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Floyd Central will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  victory, something Jeffersonville surely won't give up without a fight. New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
