Basketball Recap: Middletown Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Middletown and Fairfield squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Middletown had to settle for second. They fell 58-45 to the Fairfield Indians. The Middies have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Fairfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Middletown nor Fairfield have any future games scheduled.
