There's no place like home for Gardendale, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They strolled past the Hueytown Golden Gophers with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 70-55. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 59-54 victory the Golden Gophers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Hueytown's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aj Smiley, who posted 16 points. Mike Johnson was another key player, putting up ten points along with seven assists and seven boards.
