Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Keislyn Poss and Zaya Lewis Lead St. Paul to Victory

St. Paul had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Battle Creek Braves. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

St. Paul was led to victory by Zaya Lewis and Keislyn Poss. Lewis had 24 assists and six digs, while Poss had 16 digs and two assists. Lewis is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

St. Paul's record is now 13-7. As for Battle Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul will host Central City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Battle Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Catholic on Tuesday.
