Wellston had lost six games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-18 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Luther Lions by a score of 9-6. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Lions back in March, they had to take a 9-2 loss.
