Soccer Game Preview: Times Squared Academy vs. Mt. Pleasant

The Times Squared Academy Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Mt. Pleasant Kilties at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Times Squared Academy has given up an average of 8.1 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mt. Pleasant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Block Island on Tuesday as they made off with a 4-1 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Mt. Pleasant's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Times Squared Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Times Squared Academy might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Mt. Pleasant when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Eagles were down 4-1.
