Softball Recap: Escalon Cougars vs. Hughson Huskies
Escalon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Hughson Huskies. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Escalon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Babasa, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
