Soccer Game Preview: Laredo LBJ vs. Cinco Ranch

The Laredo LBJ Wolves will face off against the Cinco Ranch Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Laredo LBJ's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Laredo LBJ's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coppell on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Laredo LBJ have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Cinco Ranch didn't have quite enough to beat Round Rock Westwood on Friday and fell 3-2. One reason for the loss might be Cinco Ranch's aggressive play style: Bryan Jimenez and Samuel Perafan were both handed yellow cards.

Simon Perafan and Flynn Suther scored both of Cinco Ranch's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Cinco Ranch now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Laredo LBJ, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
