Volleyball Recap: Alcott Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Alcott, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Grand Eagle Owls by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Alcott won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Alcott's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for North Grand, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Alcott will square off against rival Rickover Naval at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Grand is set to challenge their familiar foe Lake View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
