McLaurin entered their tilt with Riverside on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Saturday.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 27-25.

McLaurin found their leader in sophomore Kaylee Holeman, who had 11 digs and one assist.

McLaurin's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
