Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Aubrey Ralick and Dani Poskin Lead Andrean to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Andrean walked away with it. They came out on top against the Wheeler Bearcats by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Fighting 59ers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Leading Andrean to victory were Dani Poskin and Aubrey Ralick. Poskin had 23 digs and eight assists, while Ralick had 27 digs and 20 assists. That's the most assists Poskin has posted since back in September.

Andrean was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Wheeler still got an impressive performance from Laylah McNamara, who had 20 digs and three assists.

Andrean has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-15 record this season. As for Wheeler, their loss dropped their record down to 19-13.

Looking ahead, Andrean will face off against Hebron at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wheeler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
