Football Recap: Logan-Rogersville Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Logan-Rogersville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Carl Junction Bulldogs by a score of 41-34. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 38-13 loss the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logan-Rogersville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam Frieze, who threw for 287 yards and three TDs while completing 81.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 42 yards. Those 42 rushing yards gave Frieze a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cash Clark, who picked up 65 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Logan-Rogersville's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Carl Junction, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Logan-Rogersville will take on rival West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Carl Junction is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
