Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Washington Patriots vs. Amundsen Vikings

The Chicago Washington Patriots will venture away from home to square off against the Amundsen Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chicago Washington is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Chicago Washington came up short against Von Steuben and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Amundsen earned a 2-0 victory over Lake View on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

While Amundsen might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lake View scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21.

Amundsen now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Chicago Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Chicago Washington couldn't quite get it done against Amundsen in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
