 Estrella Foothills waltzed into their game  on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Rio Rico Hawks by a score of  8-3. Eight seems to be a good number for Estrella Foothills as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Cody Rollings was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Rollings has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Rollings was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Alec Schaeffer was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played.  Jayson Ross was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Estrella Foothills pushed their record up to 14-2 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home. As for Rio Rico, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-8.
 Estrella Foothills will be playing at home against Show Low at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Estrella Foothills is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game this season. As for Rio Rico, they will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Cathedral Prep at 9:00  a.m.
