Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Chelsea back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Railsplitters came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 348th, while Chelsea are ranked 150th).

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 0-6-1. As for Chelsea, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will square off against Adrian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chelsea, they will challenge Pinckney at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
