League recap: Sheldon winning streak up to seven games

Sheldon (14-7, 4-2) is riding a league-best 7-game winning streak. Two of those wins came in the past week, includinga 4-0 win over South Eugene.

Redmond made the biggest jump in the national rankings, moving from 33 to 17 thanks to a 4-2 record over the past week.

Grant's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 17 hits and 21 walks, both of which led the league. The Generals have given up a mere 109 hits on the year in addition to compiling 122 strikeouts. Galen Denevers is the leader in that category with 35 Ks on the season.
