After flying high against Uintah last Wednesday, Timpanogos came back down to earth. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Mountain Crest Mustangs by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Timberwolves' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Timpanogos saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Hawkes, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Jackson Sotelo was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Timpanogos' loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Mountain Crest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timpanogos will take on Provo at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Crest, they will head out to face off against Logan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Grizzlies will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
