Prairie had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Skyview Storm a 6-0 shutout. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Prairie's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Owen Dirks, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Kaleb Cave, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Prairie's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Skyview, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
