Softball Recap: Evansville Harrison Warriors vs. Central Noble Cougars
After flying high against Evansville Bosse last Friday, Evansville Harrison came back down to earth. The Evansville Harrison Warriors took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Noble Cougars in their first game on Saturday.
Jordan Mackey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-2 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base.
On Central Noble's side, Grace Swank was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off only two hits. Swank has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Swank was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
