Sunnyside Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They breezed past the Granger Spartans to the tune of 74-12. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 50-48 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Granger's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sunnyside Christian will face off against Yakama Nation Tribal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Granger, they will take on Kittitas at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
