Viroqua waltzed into their contest on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Black Hawk Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Blackhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Megan Brendel paced Viroqua's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brendel got some help from Emma Moilien and her 14 assists. Ali Chestelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Viroqua's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Black Hawk, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Viroqua didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Shullsburg on the 13th. As for Black Hawk, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pecatonica at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
