Hancock stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past the Long Beach Bearcats 11-1. The win was familiar territory for Hancock who now have four in a row.
Chaley Peterson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over five innings pitched. Peterson has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Peterson was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
