River Ridge waltzed into their game on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 62-55 victory over the North Thurston Rams. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 67-39 win the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Liam Sheeran, who posted ten points and four steals. Sheeran has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Jorden Walker was another key player, going 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points.

River Ridge pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for North Thurston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

River Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-51 win against Central Kitsap on the 10th. As for North Thurston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-42 loss against Silas on the 10th.
