Baseball Recap: Pikesville Comes Up Short

Pikesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Northern Patriots.

Pikesville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Davis, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Pikesville's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Northern, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Pikesville will venture away from home to take on Hereford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northern, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-5 win against Marriotts Ridge on the 16th.
