Basketball Recap: Middle Park's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Middle Park proved they can win big back in December of 2024 (they won by 31) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Steamboat Springs Sailors, sneaking past 44-41. The 44-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Joey Gagnon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Wiedel, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Steamboat Springs lost, don't look at Connor Baptiste. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Baptiste a new career-high in boards.
