Basketball Recap: Genoa-Kingston Takes a Loss

After flying high against Woodstock North last Thursday, Genoa-Kingston came back down to earth. The Genoa-Kingston Cogs fell 59-46 to the Winnebago Indians on Friday. The Cogs haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Genoa-Kingston now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Winnebago, they pushed their record up to 9-15 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Genoa-Kingston will welcome Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dixon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Genoa-Kingston likes a good challenge. As for Winnebago, they will face off against North Boone at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
