Basketball Recap: Metter Takes a Loss

Metter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 59-51 to the Bryan County Redskins. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Redskins are ranked 180th).

Metter's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bryan County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Metter will head out to challenge Emanuel County Institute at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bryan County, they will head out on the road to take on Savannah at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
