Baseball Game Preview: Melbourne Bulldogs vs. Wheaton Academy Warriors

The Melbourne Bulldogs will face off against the Wheaton Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Melbourne managed to slip by Eau Gallie the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Melbourne came up short against Eau Gallie on Friday, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Melbourne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Ayala, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Wheaton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eau Gallie.

Melbourne's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Wheaton Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
