Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mogadore). They really took it to the St. John Fighting Herald for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-14 victory. With the Wildcats ahead 50-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Mogadore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ari Tompkins led the charge by dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten assists. With that strong performance, Tompkins is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Julie Tompkins was another key player, going 7-for-12 en route to 18 points and three steals.

Mogadore smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 48 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Mogadore pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points over those games. As for St. John, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which is still a better percentage than their 4-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, Mogadore will square off against Central Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mogadore surely won't give up without a fight. St. John does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
