Gig Harbor waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Fife Trojans. Seven seems to be a good number for the Tides as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Hunter Payne was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Ethan Mar, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Gig Harbor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April.

Gig Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Fife, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.

Gig Harbor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fife, they are taking a road trip to take on Foss at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
