Notre Dame (SO) dropped down to 11-3 on Thursday, ending the team's ten-game streak of wins. They fell 26-14 to the Saint Joseph Jesters. The Knights were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

As for Saint Joseph, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Notre Dame (SO) is ranked 83rd).

Lexi Loya produced another solid effort throwing for 248 yards and four touchdowns. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Notre Dame (SO) will take on rival Bishop Alemany at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Saint Joseph is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
